Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Xiaoyan Lidan Tablets in assisting acute calculous cholecystitis. Method： A total of 86 patients with acute calculous cholecystitis who underwent cholecystectomy were divided into two groups using a random number table method， with 43 cases in each group. The control group was treated with cholecystectomy，while the observation group was treated with Xiaoyan Lidan Tablets after cholecystectomy. T clinical efficacy， gastrointestinal function recovery time，and incidence of complications were compared between two groups，and the levels of serum highsensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and procalcitonin (PCT) were compared before and after treatment between the two groups. Results： The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.35%， which was higher than 81.40% of the control group (P＜0.05). Compared with the control group，the observation group had earlier postoperative ventilation，recovery of bowel sounds，eating and bowel movements (P＜ 0.05). After treatment，the serum hs-CRP and PCT levels in both groups were decreased (P＜0.05)，and the hs-CRP and PCT levels in the observation group were lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.98%， which was lower than 23.26% of the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion： Treating patients with acute calculous cholecystitis undergoing cholecystectomy with Xiaoyan Lidan Tablets is beneficial for improving postoperative gastrointestinal function， reducing inflammatory reactions， reducing postoperative complications， and further enhancing clinical efficacy.
