Abstract：This paper introduces the clinical experience of Professor ZHU Nansun，a traditional Chinese medicine master，in treating infertility from thoroughfare and conception channels. Professor ZHU believes that damage to the thoroughfare and conception channels is the basic pathogenesis of infertility， which should be treated from both deficiency and excess. For excess syndrome，the treatment should focus on soothing and promoting thoroughfare and conception channels； for deficiency syndrome， the treatment should focus on supplementing and boosting thoroughfare and conception channels. When conception channel is unblocked and thoroughfare channel is exuberant，the sea of blood will be normal in amassment and regurgitation， and the woman can be pregnant. Therefore， the treatment for clinical syndromes has the characteristics of regulating menstruation first， treating by stages， and soothing and promoting thoroughfare channel and conception channel.
