Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of modified Ectopic Pregnancy Prescription Ⅱ combined with methotrexate on ectopic pregnancy. Methods:A total of 84 cases of patients with ectopic pregnancy were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 42 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Methotrexate, and the observation group was additionally treated with modified Ectopic Pregnancy PrescriptionⅡbased on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for two weeks. Clinical effects were evaluated in the two groups. The improvement time of symptoms was compared between the two groups. The levels of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG),progesterone (P),pregnancy-associated plasma protein A (PAPP-A), and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) in serum were detected before and after treatment in two groups. Quality of life in the two groups was evaluated by the 36-Item Short Form Health Survey Questionnaire (SF-36) before and after treatment. The incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was counted. Results: The total effective rate was 95.24% in the observation group, higher than that of 78.57% in the control group (P<0.05). The time of disappearance of the lump, cessation of vaginal bleeding, disappearance of abdominal pain, and recovery of HCG to normal in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the hospitalization time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of HCG,P,PAPP-A,and FSH in serum in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the levels of HCG,P,PAPP-A,and FSH in serum in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of physical functioning, material life, social functioning, and emotional role in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the scores of physical functioning, material life, social functioning, and emotional role in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 2.38% in the observation group, lower than that of 16.67% in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Modified Ectopic Pregnancy Prescription Ⅱcombined with Methotrexate has ideal effects on the treatment of ectopic pregnancy, which can effectively relieve clinical symptoms, regulate serum hormone levels, and improve quality of life with good safety.
