Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Xiao'er Feike Granules assisting Azithromycin sequential therapy on children with mycoplasma pneumoniae and its effects on the lung function and serum inflammatory factors of patients. Methods:The clinical data of 100 children with mycoplasma pneumoniae were retrospectively analyzed, and they were divided into the observation group and the control group according to different treatment methods, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Azithromycin sequential therapy, and the observation group was additionally given Xiao'er Feike Granules based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects, improvement time of symptoms, lung function and the levels of serum inflammatory factors before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate was 98.00% in the observation group, higher than that of 84.00% in the control group (P<0.05). The disappearance time of shortness of breath, cough and lung rales in the observation group was respectively earlier than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1), peak expiratory flow (PEF) and forced vital capacity (FVC) in the two groups were increased (P<0.05), and the above three levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum interleukin-6 (IL-6) and C-reactive protein (CRP) in the two groups were decreased (P<0.05), and the above two levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Xiao’ er Feike Granules assisting Azithromycin sequential therapy has a definite clinical effect on children with mycoplasma pneumoniae, which can promote the mitigation of symptoms of patients, improve the lung function and alleviate the inflammatory responses.
