Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of auricular point seed-pressing combined with psychological implications for pain after vertebroplasty. Methods : A total of 183 cases of patients with osteoporotic vertebral compression fracture who planned to undergo vertebroplasty were divided into the control group,the trial group A,and the trial group B according to the random number table method,with 61 cases in each group. All the three groups were treated with vertebroplasty, followed by Naproxen Injection after surgery. On this basis,the control group received psychological implication therapy,the trial group A received auricular point seed-pressing, and the trial group B received auricular point seedpressing combined with psychological implication therapy. The scores of Revised Facial Pain Rating Scale (FPS-R),Oswestry Dysfunction Index (ODI),and Asens Insomnia Scale (AIS) before and after treatment, as well as the hospitalization time, analgesic onset time, analgesic duration, satisfaction scores of postoperative pain management were compared among the three groups. Results:The hospitalization time and analgesic onset time in the trial group B were shorter than those in the control group and the trial group A (P<0.05),and the analgesic duration in the trial group B was longer than that in the control group and the trial group A (P<0.05). After treatment,the scores of FPS-R,ODI,and AIS dimension (sleep onset time, waking up earlier than expected, nighttime awakening, daytime mood, daytime physical function, daytime drowsiness, total sleep time, and total sleep quality) in three groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the scores of FPS-R,ODI,and AIS dimension in the trial group B were lower than those in the control group and the trial group A (P<0.05). The satisfaction scores of postoperative pain management in the trial group B were higher than those in control group and the trial group A (P<0.05). Conclusion: Auricular point seed-pressing combined with psychological implications can alleviate postoperative pain,shorten hospitalization time,and improve sleep quality,with high patient satisfaction.
