Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Shujin Huoxue Decoction assisting hip replacement for femoral neck fracture in senile patients. Methods: A total of 128 cases of senile patients with femoral neck fracture were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 64 cases in each group. During the treatment period, two cases were excluded respectively from the observation group and the control group, and 62 cases were completed in each group. Both groups underwent hip replacement surgery. The control group was treated with western medicine after surgery, and nursing work such as incision dressing change was carried out. The observation group was treated with Shujin Huoxue Decoction based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects, Harris scores, hemorheological indexes, and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results: On the day 35 after surgery, the total effective rate was 96.77% in the observation group, higher than that of 87.10% in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). The Harris scores in the two groups were increased when compared with those on the first day after surgery, and the Harris score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, differences being significant (P<0.05). The levels of red blood cell aggregation index, plasma viscosity, whole blood low shear viscosity, whole blood high shear viscosity, and fibrinogen in the two groups were decreased when compared with those on the first day after surgery. The levels of the above five indexes in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant (P<0.05). Within 35 days of surgery, the incidence of complications was 6.45% in the observation group, lower than that of 19.35% in the control group, the difference being significant (P< 0.05). Conclusion: Shujin Huoxue Decoction assisting hip replacement has a significant curative effect in treating femoral neck fracture in senile patients, which can improve hip joint function and hemorheological indexes, and reduce postoperative complications.
