Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Houning Aerosol Inhalation combined with auricular point therapy on pharyngalgia after endotracheal intubation. Methods: A total of 100 patients with pharyngalgia after endotracheal intubation were divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine western medicine, and the treatment group was treated with Houning Aerosol Inhalation combined with auricular point therapy. The scores of Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) of pharyngalgia and Bruggrmann comfort scale (BCS) were compared before and after treatment between the two groups; the clinical effects and incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were evaluated. Results:After treatment, the total effective rate in the treatment group was better than that in the control group (P<0.05). After 12 hours and 24 hours of treatment, the scores of VAS of pharyngalgia in the two groups were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05), and the BCS score increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05). After treatment, the score of VAS of pharyngalgia in the treatment group was lower than those in the control group (P<0.05), and BCS score in the treatment group was higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:The therapy of Houning Aerosol Inhalation combined with auricular point therapy has a significant clinical effect on pharyngalgia after endotracheal intubation, which can obviously mitigate the postoperative pharyngalgia and discomfort with great safety.
