Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Weifuchun Capsules combined with bismuthcontaining quadruple therapy on gastric ulcer complicated with helicopbacter pylori (Hp) infection. Methods： A total of 84 patients with gastric ulcer complicated with Hp infection were divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the random number table method， with 42 cases in each group. The control group was treated with bismuth-containing quadruple therapy， and the treatment group was additionally treated with Weifuchun Capsules based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for four weeks. The clinical effects，Hp eradication rate and the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores，and levels of inflammatory factors before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results：The total effective rate was 95.24% in the treatment group，higher than that of 80.95% in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，each traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score in both groups was down-regulated (P＜0.05)， and each traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the Hp eradication rate was 83.33% in the treatment group，higher than that of 64.29% in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of serum interleukin-6 (IL-6)， interleukin-8 (IL-8) and tumor necrosis factor- α (TNF-α) were dwindled (P＜0.05)，and the above three levels in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion： Weifuchun Capsules combined with bismuth-containing quadruple therapy has a good clinical effect on patients with gastric ulcer complicated with Hp infection， which can mitigate the vital signs of the body，enhance the Hp eradication rate and reduce the inflammatory responses.
