Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of acupuncture combined with Weifuchun Capsules on chronic astrophic gastritis. Methods：A total of 102 patients with chronic astrophic gastritis were selected as the study subjects and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method，with 51 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Weifuchun Capsules， and the observation group was treated with acupuncture and Weifuchun Capsules. The total clinical effective rates were compared，and the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores， and the levels of motilin (MTL)， gastrin (GAS)， interleukin-6 (IL-6)， hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)，and the relative expression levels of miR-26a and miR-32 before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results：The total effective rate was 90.20% in the observation group，higher than that of 70.59% in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment， the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores of gastric cavity pain， stuffiness and distension of gastric cavity， fatigue and lack of strength， and poor appetite and digestion in both groups were reduced (P＜0.05)，and the above four scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of serum GAS and MTL in both groups were increased (P＜0.05)， and the above two levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of serum IL-6，hs-CRP and TNF-α in the two groups were downregulated (P＜0.05)， and the above three levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P＜0.05). After treatment，the expression levels of serum miR-26a in the two groups were up-regulated (P＜0.05)，and the level in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P＜ 0.05)； the relative expression levels of serum miR-32 in both groups were declined (P＜0.05)， and the level in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of acupuncture combined with Weifuchun Capsules has an ideal curative effect on chronic astrophic gastritis， which can not only improve the gastrointestinal hormones， but also reduce the levels of inflammatory factors and regulate the expression levels of miR-26a and miR-32.
