Abstract:Objective:To explore the acupoint selection rules in the treatment of lactational mastitis by acupuncture and moxibustion using data mining. Methods:China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database (VIP) and Wanfang Data knonledge service platform (Wanfang) were selected for the search of clinical literature of using acupuncture and moxibustion to treat lactational mastitis published from the establishment of the database to June 30,2023. Literatures that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected, and acupoint frequency statistics, acupoint location analysis, specific acupoint statistics , cluster analysis and association rule analysis were performed in turn. Results : A total of 30 articles were included and 40 acupoints were used for 123 times. Among them, the top five meridians were successively the foot-yangming stomach meridians, foot-shaoyang gallbladder meridians, conception vessel, hand-jueyin pericardium meridians and foot-jueyin liver meridians. The top five acupoints in the usage frequency were Danzhong (CV17) point,Jianjing (GB21) point, Neiguan (PC6) point, Rugen (ST18) point and Ashi point. The acupoints used in treatment of lactational mastitis by acupuncture and moxibustion were mainly distributed in the chest, shoulders, back and limbs, accounting for 95.12 % of the total frequency. Among them, the acupoints in the chest were mostly used, while the number of acupoints in the lower limbs is the highest. Specific acupoints with high frequency of use included intersection acupoints, five-shu points, and front mu points. The five-shu points had the largest number of usage. The acupoint combinations based on the cluster analysis include Zhongwan (CV12) point -Tianchi (PC1) point-Sanyinjiao (SP6) point-Neiguan (PC6) point-Fenglong (ST40) point-Yingchuang (ST16) point-Danzhong (CV17) point-Tianzong (SI11) point,Zulinqi (GB41) point-Hegu (LI4) point-Jianjing (GB21) point-Qimen (LR14) point,Rugen (ST18) point-Xingjian (LR2) point,Shaoze (SI1) point-Taichong (LR3) point- Zusanli (ST36) point. The analysis of association rules showed that the acupoint combinations with higher correlation were Danzhong (CV17) point-Neiguan (PC6) point,Neiguan (PC6) point-Fenglong (ST40) point and Danzhong (CV17) point-Fenglong (ST40) point. Conclusion: The acupoint selection in the treatment of lactational mastitis by acupuncture and moxibustion attaches great importance to the principle of proximal and distal acupoint selection and the course of the meridians, which flexibly applies specific acupoints and focus on syndrome based acupoint selection.
