Abstract: This article introduces Professor WANG Bangcai's clinical experience in treating bone metastases from pulmonary cancer. Professor WANG points out that lung and kidney deficiency,and bone marrow insufficiency are the core pathogenesis of bone metastases from pulmonary cancer; Phlegm, stasis,cancer and toxin,as well as the adhesion and erosion of bones,are key pathological factors in the formation of bone metastasis and the cause of osteodynia. Therefore, the treatment principles are to nourishing lung and kidney,strengthen bones and supplement marrow to treat the root,and to eliminate phlegm and resolve stasis,and clear toxin and relieve pain to treat the branch. At the same time,managing the adverse reactions of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. It's also important to remember the role of harmonizing both mind and body and verbal counseling in uplifting the patient's mood. A comprehensive treatment approach can be applied to improve patients' quality of life.
