Abstract： This paper summarizes and introduces Professor ZOU Xu's clinical experience in the treatment of long COVID. Professor ZOU Xu believes that the COVID infection belongs to the category of damp pestilence in Chinese medicine，and its basic pathogenesis is deficiency of healthy qi，residual toxin， and qi depletion and yin damage. ZOU's treatment takes reinforcing healthy qi and dispelling pathogen as the principle. In terms of dispelling pathogen， the treatment is mainly dispelling dampness and resolving stagnation， and is "opening five gates" to give pathogen way out； in terms of reinforcing healthy qi， the treatment is mainly boosting qi and nourishing yin and emphasizes supplementing the kidney and boosting essence， and consolidating the root and generating original qi. Under the basic treatments of boosting qi and nourishing yin as well as promoting urination and percolating dampness， Professor ZOU Xu always modifies his treatment based on syndrome differentiation according to the different symptoms of long COVID.
