Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Angong Niuhuang Pills as an adjuvant therapy for acute hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (HICH). Methods: A total of 50 HICH patients were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 25 cases in each group, using a random number table method. The control group received routine basic treatment, and the observation group received combined treatment with Angong Niuhuang Pills on the basis of the control group. Evaluated the clinical effects of the two groups, and compared the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome scores, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) scores, modified Rankin Scale (mRS) scores, and serological indicators before and after treatment. Results: The total effective rate was 96.00% in the observation group, which was higher than that of 72.00% in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the TCM syndrome scores,NIHSS scores, and mRS scores in both groups were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05), and the TCM syndrome score, NIHSS score, and mRS score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the serum levels of sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P) in both groups were higher than those before treatment, and the levels of lipopolysaccharide binding protein (LBP) and 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05); the S1P level in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the LBP and 8-OHdG levels were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The clinical efficacy of Angong Niuhuang Pills in HICH is significant, which can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients, enhance neurological function, and reduce inflammatory reactions.
