Abstract： Professor YI WEI believes that hypomenorrhea is always related to the liver， spleen， and kidney. Liver constraint and spleen deficiency and kidney deficiency with blood stasis are common pathogenesis of this disease. In treatment， it is necessary to comply with the menstrual cycle， combine with Yi medicine theory， and adhere to the treatment method of "acupuncture first， moxibustion second and Chinese medicinals third". In terms of acupuncture，umbilical acupuncture and body acupuncture should be combined. In terms of moxibustion，it is important to differentiate syndromes and stages，and flexibly choose direct moxibustion or separation moxibustion. In terms of prescription and medication， it is advocated to prioritize rectifying qi before menstruation，invigorating blood to regulating menstruation，and supplementing blood after menstruation.
