Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of application with Ruyi Jinhuang Powder combined with conventional therapy on complications after radial artery angiography. Methods: A total of 50 cases of patients undergoing radial artery angiography were selected and divided into the conventional group and the trial group, each with 25 cases. The conventional group received conventional therapy, and the trial group received application with Ruyi Jinhuang Powder combined with conventional therapy. The efficacy was evaluated after two weeks of treatment. The clinical efficacy, symptom relief time, and postoperative complications in the two groups were compared;the changes in serum inflammatory factors levels [cardiac troponin I (cTnI), creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB), hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP)] and endothelial function [von Willebrand factor (vWF),endothelin-1 (ET-1),nitric oxide (NO)] before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of clinical treatment in the trial group was 96.00%, and that in the conventional group was 76.00%; the difference in clinical efficacy between the two groups was significant (P<0.05). The time for local bruising, swelling, and pain to subside in the trial group was shorter than that in the conventional group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of hs-CRP, cTnI, and CK-MB in serum in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and levels of these three indexes in the trial group were lower than those in the conventional group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of vWF and ET-1 in the two groups were reduced when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the NO levels were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05); the levels of vWF and ET-1 in the trial group were lower than those in the conventional group (P<0.05), and the NO level was higher than that in the conventional group (P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications in the trial group was 4.00%, and that in the conventional group was 20.00%; the difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups was significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: The application with Ruyi Jinhuang Powder combined with conventional therapy has a positive effect on patients after radial artery angiography. It can accelerate the subsidence of local bruising, swelling, and pain, reduce inflammatory damage, improve endothelial function, and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.
