Abstract： Objective： To analyze the medication rules of Director LI Liuning in treating lung cancer based on data mining technology. Method： We collected the first Chinese medicine prescriptions of patients with lung cancer treated by Director LI Liuning from January 1， 2018 to December 31， 2022， established a Chinese medicine prescription database， and counted the frequency of use of Chinese medicine and its natures and flavors，meridian entry，and efficacy. We used SPSS Modeler 18.0 statistical software to perform association rule analysis on high-frequency Chinese medicinals， and SPSS Statistics 26.0 statistical software to perform cluster analysis on high-frequency Chinese medicinals. Results： We obtained 348 prescriptions，including 189 Chinese medicinals，with a total usage frequency of 5 550 times. There were 17 Chinese medicinals with a usage frequency higher than or equal 100 times. The top eight were Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma， Poria， Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma， Astragali Radix， Codonopsis Radix， Pinelliae Rhizoma， Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium， and Amomi Fructus. The medicinal flavors of the medicines were mainly sweet，bitter，and acrid；the medicinal natures were mainly warm， neutral， and cold， the meridian entries were mainly lung， liver， and spleen； the efficacy were mainly tonifying deficiency， clearing heat， resolving phlegm， easing cough and relieving asthma， and invigorating blood and dissolving stasis. The association rule analysis of high-frequency Chinese medicinals found that the top three medicine pairs in terms of support were Poria-Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma， Poria-Astragali Radix， and Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma-Astragali Radix. Cluster analysis found four types of Chinese medicine combinations，the first type was Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma， Poria， Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma， Codonopsis Radix， Astragali Radix， Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium， Pinelliae Rhizoma， Amomi Fructus， Hordei Fructus Germinatus， Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus，Monascus Purpureus Went，Solanum NigrumL；the second type was Spreading Hedyotis Herb， Curcumae Rhizoma； the third type was Coicis Semen； the fourth type was Psoraleae Fructus and Ganoderma. Conclusion：Based on the theory of nourishing spleen-earth，Director LI Liuning believes that the occurrence of lung cancer is based on spleen qi deficiency，and the treatment mainly using qi tonifying and spleen strengthening medicine， combined with phlegm and rectifying qi， clearing heat and resolving toxins， and invigorating blood and dissolving stasis medicine to restore the normal transportation and transformation of the spleen-earth.
