Effect of Thread-Point Moxibustion Therapy in Zhuang Medicine Combined with Rhu⁃ barb Navel Therapy on Gastrointestinal Function After Surgery of Cholecystollthiasis
Abstract:Objective:To observe the curative effect of the combined use of thread-point moxibustion therapy in Zhuang medicine and rhubarb navel therapy on the recovery of gastrointestinal function after surgery of cholecystollthiasis. Methods:A total of 116 patients with cholecystolithiasis were included and treated with laparoscopic cholecystectomy. After surgery , they were divided into the control group (56 cases) and the treatment group (60 cases) according to different treatment methods. The control group was given routine intravenous infusion of antibiotics to prevent postoperative infection, and routine nursing and rhubarb navel therapy for intervention. The treatment group was additionally treated with thread-point moxibustion therapy in Zhuang medicine based on the treatment of the control group. The changes of gastrointestinal motility indexes, psychological state [Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) and Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD)] and quality of life [Gastrointestinal Quality of Life Index (GLQI)] were compared before and after treatment between the two groups, and the incidence of postoperative complications in the two groups was evaluated. Results: After treatment, the mobility indexes and contraction frequency of gastric antrum were up-regulated when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the half gastric emptying time was shortened when compared with that before treatment (P<0.05); the mobility indexes and contraction frequency of gastric antrum in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05),and the half gastric emptying time was shorter than that in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of HAMA and HAMD in the two groups were reduced when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the GLQI was elevated when compared with that before treatment (P<0.05); the scores of HAMA and HAMD in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05), and the GLQI was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications was 8.33% in the treatment group and 25.00% in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). Conclusion:The combined use of thread-point moxibustion therapy in Zhuang medicine and rhubarb navel therapy can improve the psychological state of patients with cholecystollthiasis after laparoscopic cholecystectomy, reduce the postoperative complications and effectively promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function.
