Abstract： Five-phase theory is an important part of the basic theory of Chinese medicine. Professor WANG Xiaoyun is adept at applying "five-phase syndrome differentiation" theory to treat gynecological diseases. She believes that women's health is based on blood， and the generation， circulation， and regulation of qi and blood depend on the fullness，diffusion，dispersion，purification and descent of lung qi. In treating gynecological diseases，she fully utilizes the relationships of restriction and generation in the five phases； she strengthens the spleen without forgetting to nourish the lungs， soothes the liver while also diffusing the lungs， and supplements kidneys without forgetting to supplement lungs； she treats menstrual disorders， leukorrhea disease， hyperemesis gravidarum， postpartum hypogalactia， and menopausal syndrome from lungs；the medication is gentle yet the therapeutic effect is significant.
