Abstract： This paper summarizes the relevant theory about childbearing in FENG Zhaozhang's book FENG's Secret Recordin Qing Dynasty，aiming to explore its theoretical points and academic features. FENG Zhaozhang believed that the physiological basis for male and female to have children was women's smooth menstruation and men's full essence qi， and they could copulate regularly. For the treatment of infertility， emphasis was paid to unblocking women's uterus with appendages and harmonizing men's five zang-organs. Besides，FENG not only attached importance to warming yang qi and opposed the pure use of acrid-warm medicinals，but also emphasized that pre-fetal adjustment should be highlighted after pregnancy. It could provide reference for modern clinical diagnosis and treatment of related diseases.
