Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Terbinafine Hydrochloride Spray combined with Xianglian External Washing Liquid on tinea pedis. Methods： A total of 60 cases of patients with tinea pedis admitted to the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine from March 2023 to January 2024 were selected and divided into the combination group and the control group according to the simple random method， with 30 cases in each group， two cases in the combination group were failed to follow-up，and finally 28 cases were included. The combination group was treated with immersion with Xianglian External Washing Liquid and Terbinafine Hydrochloride Spray，and the control group was treated with Terbinafine Hydrochloride Spray. Both groups were treated for four weeks. Observed and compared the clinical efficacy， symptom scores， efficacy indexes， Dermatology Life Quality Index （DLQI）， fungal clearance rates，recurrence rates，and adverse reactions between the two groups. Results：After treatment，the cure rate was 89.29%（25/28） in the combination group，which was higher than that of 66.67%（20/30） in the control group， the difference being significant （P＜0.05）. After treatment， the efficacy indexes in both groups were increased when compared with those before treatment （P＜0.05），and the efficacy index in the combination group was higher than that in the control group（ P＜0.05）. After treatment，the fungal clearance rate was 92.86%（26/28） in the combination group and 86.67% （26/30） in the control group，and there was no significant difference between the two groups （P＞0.05）. After treatment，the DLQI scores in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment （P＜0.05）， and the DLQI score in the combination group was lower than that in the control group （P＜0.05）. After treatment，the recurrence rate was 4.00%（1/25） in the combination group， and 30.00%（6/20） in the control group， the difference being significant （P＜0.05）. During the treatment process，one patient in the combination group and two patients in the control group experienced transient mild itching in non skin lesions，both of which relieved on their own. Conclusion： Xianglian External Washing Liquid combined with Terbinafine Spray is safe and effective in the treatment of tinea pedis， which can significantly improve the symptoms and signs of patients，improve the quality of life，reduce the recurrence rate，and the fungal clearance rate is relatively high.
