Abstract:Objective:To observe the curative effect of the combination use of auricular point seed-pressing and acupoints massage on preventing postpartum urine retention after labor analgesia. Methods: A total of 150 lying-in women receiving labor analgesia in the 2nd Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University from January 202 to December 202 were selected and divided into the combination group, the auricular point seed-pressing group and the acupoint massage group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The auricular point seed-pressing group was treated with auricular point seed-pressing, the acupoint massage group was treated with acupoint massage, and the combination group was treated with auricular point seed-pressing combined with acupoint massage. The three groups were treated for two weeks. The autonomic micturation time, first urine volume after delivery, residual urine volume in bladder, incidence of postpartum urine retention, ratio of catheterization to postpartum indwelling catheter, postpartum amount of bleeding and satisfaction degree of lying-in women were compared among the three groups. Results:The autonomic micturation time in the combination group was shorter than that in the auricular point seed-pressing group and the acupoint massage group, the first urine volume after delivery was more than that in the auricular point seed-pressing group and the acupoint massage group, and the residual urine volume in the bladder was less than that in the auricular point seed-pressing group and the acupoint massage group (P<0.05);there were no significant differences being found in the comparisons of autonomic micturation time, first urine volume after delivery and residual volume in the bladder between the auricular point seed-pressing group and the acupoint massage group (P>0.05). The incidence of postpartum urine retention in the combination group was lower than that in the auricular point seed-pressing group and the acupoint massage group (P<0.05); there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of incidence of postpartum urine retention between the auricular point seed-pressing group and the acupoint massage group (P>0.05). The ratio of catheterization to postpartum indwelling catheter in the combination group was lower than that in the auricular point seed-pressing group and the acupoint massage group (P< 0.05); there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of ratio of catheterization to postpartum indwelling catheter between the auricular point seed-pressing group and the acupoint massage group (P>0.05). Two and twenty-four hours after delivery, the postpartum amount of bleeding in the combination group was less than that in the auricular point seed-pressing group and the acupoint massage group at the same time (P<0.05); there were no significant differences being found in the comparison of postpartum amount of bleeding at the same time between the auricular point seed-pressing group and the acupoint massage group (P>0.05). The satisfaction degree of lying-in women was 98.00%( 49/50) in the combination group, higher than that of 84.00%( 42/50) in the auricular point seedpressing group (P<0.05);and that of 82.00%(41/50) in the acupoint massage group, there being no significance in the difference between the satisfaction degree of living-in women in the auricular point seed pressing group and accupoint massage group (P>0.05). Conclusion:The combination use of auricular point seed-pressing and acupoints massage can reduce the incidence of postpartum urine retention and restore uterine fuction and improve the satisfaction degree of lying-in women.
