Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of the combination use of Dachaihu Decoction and Guizhi Fuling Pills on bronchial asthma of phlegm blended with stasis type and its effect on the lung function，brain-derived neurotrophic factor （BDNF）， neurokinin A （NKA） and substance P （SP）. Methods： A total of 60 patients with bronchial asthma of phlegm blended with blood stasis type admitted to the Wenzhou TCM Hospital of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University from July 2021 to December 2022 were selected and divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the random number table method，with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with inhalation therapy of Salmeterol Fluticasone， and the treatment group was treated with Dachaihu Decoction combined with Guizhi Fuling Pills. The clinical effects， the scores of Asthma Control Test （ACT）， the levels of lung function indexes [forced expiratory volume in the first second （FEV1）， forced vital capacity （FVC） and peak expiratory flow（ PEF）] and the levels of BDNF，NKA and SP were compared between the two groups. Results：The total effective rate was 93.3% （28/30） in the treatment group， higher than that of 73.3% （22/30） in the control group （P＜0.05）. After treatment，the ACT scores in the two groups were elevated （P＜0.05），and the ACT score in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group （P＜0.05）. After treatment，the FEV1，FVC and PEF in the two groups were increased （P＜0.05）， and the above three indexes in the treatment group were higher than those in the control group（ P＜0.05）. After treatment，the levels of serum BDNF，NKA and SP in the two groups were reduced（ P＜0.05）， and the above three levels in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group （P＜0.05）. Conclusion： The combination use of Dachaihu Decoction and Guizhi Fuling Pills has a significant curative effect on bronchial asthma of phlegm blended with stasis type，which can improve the lung function and the levels of serum BDNF，NKA and SP.
