Abstract:Abstract: Chinese Medicine plays a significant role in the prevention and control of public health emergencies. However, there are still weaknesses in the system, mechanisms, legal regulations, and public perception that hinder Chinese medicine from maximizing its potential in such events. This paper uses the SWOT analysis framework to conduct qualitative interviews with experts in the medical and health fields in Guangzhou. It analyzes and summarizes the current state and issues of the Chinese medicine emergency response system from four aspects: Strengths (S) , Weaknesses (W),Opportunities (O),and Threats (T). The paper also provides recommendations for enhancing the Chinese medicine emergency response system, including improving the legal framework, refining system construction, promoting mechanism development, and increasing investment and public awareness.
