Abstract:New medical science is an important direction of medical education reform in China. It is the mission given to medical educators by the times to adapt to the requirements of the new medical science and train the excellent medical talents who are humane and skillful. Under the background of new medical science, this paper integrates narrative medicine into the thinking and practice of the teaching of Various Schools of Chinese Medicine,and believes that the talent training concepts of new medical science,narrative medicine and various schools of Chinese medicine are consistent. This paper introduces the teaching characteristics and methods of each school of Chinese medicine,as well as the application process and path of narrative medicine in the field of Chinese medicine, and then carries out the teaching research of the course of Various Schools of Chinese Medicine. In the study,a total of 198 students from four classes were selected and divided into the trial group and the control group. The teaching methods of narrative medicine and conventional teaching methods were used respectively to compare the effects of the two teaching methods. The results showed that the proportion of students in the trial group who were interested in the course and thought the course was important was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05), and therefore, this method is helpful in the improvement of teaching effect. In the future,we should further integrate narrative medicine into teaching,fully explore the humanistic education value of this course, and promote the organic integration of professional education and humanistic education.
