Abstract:Objective:To explore the medication rules and syndrome differentiation and treatment experience of Director HE Yuanhao in treating gastric-region pain based on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System (V3.0). Methods:Prescriptions for treating gastric-region pain prescribed by Director HE in the outpatient of the Department of Chinese Medicine,The First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from January 2020 to December 2021 were collected to establish a medical record database. Data mining methods such as cluster analysis and association rule analysis were used to analyze the medication rules and syndrome differentiation and treatment experience of Director HE in treating gastric-region pain. Results: Among the 1 014 prescriptions, 167 Chinese herbs were involved, with 22 herbs used ≥100 times. The top five herbs were Corydalis Rhizoma, Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, Puerariae Lobatae Radix,Jasminum Grandiflorum L.,and Bambusae Caulis in Taenias. The herbs were mainly used for clearing heat and supplementing deficiency, followed by those for rectifying qi and for dispelling and removing dampness. According to the four natures,cold herbs were the most frequently used,followed by warm herbs. In terms of the five flavors,bitter and sweet herbs were the most common. In terms of channel entry,the stomach channel was the most frequent,followed by the spleen channel. There were 23 commonly used herbal combinations,and four groups of commonly used special herbal pairs were obtained through cluster analysis combined with clinical experience. Conclusion: Director HE's treatment for gastric-region pain mainly focuses on soothing the liver and moving qi, clearing heat and promoting fluid production, relieving pain, and harmonizing the stomach. HE also emphasizes supplementing deficiency and reinforcing healthy qi,as well as draining excess and dispelling pathogen. This provides a reference for clinical treatment of gastric-region pain.
