Abstract: Objective: To observe the effect of Yangxue Qingnao Pills combined with conventional therapy on brain networks,neurotransmitters,and cognitive function in stroke patients. Methods:A total of 150 stroke patients admitted to Deqing County People's Hospital from May 2021 to April 2024 were selected as the study subjects and divided into the control group (69 cases) and the treatment group (81 cases) based on different treatment methods. The control group received conventional therapy,while the treatment group received Yangxue Qingnao Pills in addition to conventional therapy. The changes in therapeutic efficacy scores,attention network function assessment,neurotransmitter levels [acetylcholine (Ach), glutamate (GLU), and aspartate (Asp)], cognitive function [Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA),and Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE)],and hematocrit values were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results:After intervention,the therapeutic efficacy scores in both groups were decreased when compared with those before intervention (P<0.05), with the treatment group showing lower therapeutic efficacy scores than the control group (P<0.05). The alertness time in both groups was increased when compared with that before intervention (P<0.05), with the treatment group showing longer alertness time than the control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in orientation time,executive control time,total reaction time,and accuracy rates between the treatment group and the control group (P>0.05). After intervention,Ach levels in both groups were increased when compared with those before intervention (P<0.05), while GLU and Asp levels were decreased (P<0.05). The treatment group had higher Ach levels and lower GLU and Asp levels than the control group (P<0.05). The MMSE and MoCA scores were improved in both groups after intervention (P<0.05),with the treatment group showing higher scores than the control group (P<0.05). The hematocrit values in both groups were decreased after intervention (P<0.05), with the treatment group showing lower values than the control group (P< 0.05). Conclusion: Yangxue Qingnao Pills combined with conventional therapy can help restore brain networks, regulate and improve neurotransmitter levels,and enhance cognitive function in stroke patients.
