Effects of Jiegu Qili Granules Combined with Computerized Traumatological Therapeutic Apparatus on Swelling Degree,Prognosis, and Pain After Surgery for Lower Limb Fracture
Abstract:Objective:To observe the effects of Jiegu Qili Granules combined with computerized traumatological therapeutic apparatus on postoperative swelling degree, prognosis, and pain in patients with lower limb fracture. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 114 cases of patients with lower limb fracture who underwent surgery at the First People's Hospital of Yongkang from April 2022 to July 2023. The patients were divided into the 68 cases in control group and the 46 cases in observation group based on different treatment methods. The control group received routine symptomatic treatments such as anticoagulation, thrombolysis, and infection prevention, and the observation group was additionally treated with Jiegu Qili Granules combined with computerized traumatological therapeutic apparatus in addition to the routine treatments. The incidence of complications was compared between the two groups; the swelling degree, Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) scores for pain, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores, fracture healing quality, and hemorheological indicators were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results:After treatment, both groups showed a reduction in swelling degree,VAS scores, and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores compared to those before treatment (P<0.05),with the observation group showing significantly lower levels than the control group (P<0.05). The scores for callus volume and callus density in both groups were increased after treatment (P<0.05),with higher scores in the observation group compared to the control group( P<0.05). The healing time in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group( P< 0.05), and the effective healing rate was higher in the observation group (P<0.05). After treatment, whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, hematocrit, and platelet aggregation rate were decreased in the two groups (P<0.05), with the observation group showing lower values than the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of complications was 13.04%( 6/46) in the observation group and 29.41%( 20/68) in the control group, with a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion:Jiegu Qili Granules combined with computerized traumatological therapeutic apparatus can effectively relieve swelling and pain at the fracture site, alleviate clinical symptoms, shorten fracture healing time, regulate inflammatory indicators, and reduce the incidence of complications in patients with lower limb fracture, leading to better prognosis.
