Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of the combination use of Yiqi Qingdu Prescription and human interferon α2a Suppository on persistent HPV infection after loop electrosurgical excision procedure （LEEP）. Methods：A total of 90 patients who were reviewed and still had HPV infection three months after LEEP were selected from Shengzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023. They were divided into the observation group and the western medicine group according to the random number table method，with 45 cases in each group. According to the exclusion criteria，finally 43 cases were respectively included in the observation group and the western medicine group with two cases being excluded in each group. Both groups were treated with LEEP. The western medicine group was treated with human interferon α2a Suppository after LEEP， and the observation group was additionally treated with Yiqi Qingdu Prescription based on the treatment in the western medicine group. Both groups were treated for three menstrual cycles. The clinical effects in the two groups were evaluated. The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores，negative conversion rates of HPV infection and the levels of immune function indexes （Tlymphocyte subsets CD3+ ， CD4+ and CD8+ ， and CD4+/CD8+ ratio） were compared between the two groups. The recurrence in the two groups was followed up for three and six months. Results：The total effective rate was 88.37%（ 38/ 43） in the observation group， higher than that of 69.77% （30/43） in the western medicine group （P＜0.05）. The negative conversion rate of HPV infection was 81.40% （35/43） in the observation group， higher than that of 60.47%（ 26/43） in the western medicine group（ P＜0.05）. After treatment，the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scores （main symptoms， secondary symptoms and total scores） in the two groups were reduced when compared with those before treatment （P＜0.05），and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the western medicine group （P＜0.05）. After treatment， the levels of CD3+ ， CD4+ ， and CD4+/CD8+ in the two groups were elevated when compared with those before treatment， and the above three levels in the observation group were higher than those in the western medicine group （P＜0.05）；the CD8+ levels in the two groups were dwindled when compared with those before treatment， and the CD8+ level in the observation group was lower than that in the western medicine group（ P＜0.05）. The recurrence rates were respectively 2.86%（ 1/35） and 8.57%（ 3/35） in the observation group after three and six months of follow-up， lower than those of 19.23% （5/26） and 30.77% （8/26） in the western medicine group， differences being significant （P＜0.05）. Conclusion： The combination use of Yiqi Qingdu Prescription and human interferon α2a Suppository has a great curative effect on patients with persistent HPV infection after LEEP， which can improve the negative conversion rate of HPV infection， effectively relieve the symptoms of gynecological disease，enhance the immunity of patients，and then reduce the recurrence rate of HPV infection.
