Abstract:Objective:To analyze the acupoint selection rules of national famous Chinese medicine physician and Professor SHEN Jingyun in treating cervicogenic headache(CEH) with Tuina manipulation based on data mining. Methods: The medical cases were collected from the medical records of Professor Shen Jingyun´s outpatient department kept from 1963 to the present, and his publicly published books and literatures were collected, and the acupoints selected for CEH were extracted. Microsoft Excel 2021 was used to establish a database, and the use frequency of acupoints, meridian entries and position distribution were counted. Statistical software SPSS22 and Clementine 12 were used to conduct the association rules analysis and clustering analysis on high frequency data. Results: A total of 220 manuscripts met the inclusion criteria, including 43 acupoints, with a frequency of 3 531 times. The use frequency of 10 acupoints such as Fengchi (GB20) point,Fengfu (DU16) point and Tianzhu (BL10) point was more than 138 times. The most frequently used meridian was the hand Taiyang small intestine meridian. The distribution of acupoints was mostly located in the neck and nape, and the frequency of acupoints at the neck-shoulder-front chest was 73%. The core prescription of Professor SHEN Jingyun in treating CEH is Zhongfu( LU1) point-Tianzong( SI11) point- Tianzhu (BL10) point-Wangu (GB12) point-Jianzhongshu (SI15) point-Jianwaishu (SI14) point-Fengfu (DU16) point-Fengchi (GB20) point. After clustering analysis, the 10 high-frequency acupoints can be divided into three categories: Fengchi (GB20) point-Fengfu (DU16) point-Tianzhu (BL10) point-Wangu (GB12) point, Jianzhongshu (SI15) point-Jianwaishu (SI14) point-Tianzong (SI11) point-Tianliao (TE15) point, and Yunmen( LU2) point-Zhongfu( LU1) point. Conclusion:Professor SHEN Jingyun applies Tuina manipulation to treat CEH and the acupoint selection rule is to treat local and distal areas and harmonize yin and yang.
