Abstract: Based on the biomechanical relationship between the spine and pelvis, as well as studies on the mechanics of lumbar and gluteal muscle groups, this paper integrates the holistic perspective of Chinese medicine to elucidate the pathological mechanisms of adolescent idiopathic lumbar scoliosis in relation to pelvic imbalance and muscular strength imbalance in the lumbar-gluteal region. It proposes that fixed-point spinal hammer reduction combined with acupuncture can adjust the spine-pelvis relationship, realign displaced lumbar vertebrae, and restore mechanical balance in the lumbar-gluteal muscle groups. By combining holistic and localized approaches, this comprehensive treatment strategy—through bone setting, tendon relaxation, tendon stretching, bone stabilization, channel unblocking and tendon nourishment—aims to restore the normal physiological balance of the spine.
