Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of the combination use of ear holography copper bian scraping and medicinal cupping on sudden deafness of qi stagnation and blood stasis type. Methods：A total of 80 patients with sudden deafness of qi stagnation and blood stasis type treated in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology， Wenzhou Central Hospital from July 2022 to March 2024 were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group by the random number table method，with 40 cases in each group. Both groups were given conventional nursing. The control group was additionally given glucocorticoid，microcirculation improvement and neutral nutrition，and the observation group was additionally treated with ear holography copper bian scraping combined with medicinal cupping based on the treatment of the control group. The prescription of medicinal cupping was modified Tongqiao Huoxue Decoction，once every 3 days，10 times in total as a course of treatment. The Visual Analogue Scale （VAS） scores of hearing threshold， tinnitus and ear fullness before and after treatment， and the clinical effects were respectively compared between the two groups. Results：After treatment，the VAS of hearing threshold，tinnitus and ear fullness of the two groups were reduced when compared with those before treatment （P＜0.05），and the above three scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group（ P＜0.05）. The total effective rate was 72.5%（ 29/40） in the observation group，higher than 50.0% （20/40） of the control group （P＜0.05）. Conclusion：The combination use of ear holography copper bian scraping and medicinal cupping can improve the tinnitus and ear fullness of patients with sudden deafness of qi stagnation and blood stasis type，decrease the hearing threshold and help recover the hearing.
