Abstract: Cervical vertigo falls under the category of "vertigo" in Chinese Medicine. The sinew-bone theory emphasizes the mutual influence of sinews and bones, which maintain a long-term dynamic equilibrium. The imbalance state of "displacement of sinews and misalignment of bones" is a critical pathogenesis of cervical vertigo. This article elucidates the mechanisms of Chinese medicine therapies—such as Tuina and bone-setting, exercise guidance, acupuncture and moxibustion, and Chinese herbal medicine—in correcting sinew-bone imbalances and restoring the physiological state of "proper bone alignment and supple sinews" in the cervical spine. It further deepens the understanding of Chinese medicine therapies for treating cervical vertigo.
