Abstract：This article is to introduce Professor ZHANG Yuzhen's clinical experience in applying the methods of activating blood and resolving stasis for miscarriage prevention. Adhering to the treatment principle of “Treating disease during pregnancy does not harm the fetus”，Professor ZHANG Yuzhen employs the conventional method of tonifying the kidney and strengthening the spleen and the modified method of activating blood and resolving stasis. The key diagnostic criteria include prolonged vaginal bleeding with dark coffee-colored clots， accompanied by a pale-dark tongue with ecchymosis or petechiae. By integrating disease-syndrome differentiation， she applies the miscarriage prevention method of activating blood and resolving stasis， and emphasizes calming the mind precedes securing the fetus， and regulating emotions to counteract emotional imbalances，which consistently achieves remarkable clinical outcomes.
