Abstract:Objective:To discuss the medication rules of Chinese medicine for globus hystericus based on data mining. Methods:The literature from 2000 to 2023 on the treatment of globus hystericus by Chinese medicine in database of China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) was searched. Microsoft Office Excel 2010 software was used for the statistics of the frequency, nature and flavor, meridian entries and effects of Chinese medicinals. IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 software was used for the cluster analysis, and IBM SPSS Modeler 18.0 software for the association rule analysis. Results:A total of 62 articles met the inclusion criteria, involving 155 Chinese medicinals. Among them,45 Chinese medicinals were used for more than six times, and the top four are Pinelliae Rhizoma,Poria, Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex and Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma. The Chinese medicinals are mainly warm and neutral in nature, and mainly sweet, acrid and bitter in flavor with the main meridian entries of the lung, spleen and liver. They are mainly used for regulating qi,dissolving phlegm, easing cough and relieving panting, clearing heat, and tonifying deficiency. According to the association rule analysis, the pairwise association between Pinelliae Rhizoma and Poria demonstrated the highest support, and the triple association among Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex,Poria and Pinelliae Rhizoma had the highest support. Highly used (≥15 times) Chinese medicinals were clustered into four categories. Conclusion:Globus hystericus is mainly caused by qi disfunction and phlegm retention, and the Chinese medicinals for qi-regulating and phlegm-dissolving, cough-easing and panting-relieving are the main medications. In clinical practice, the compatibility of Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex-Poria-Pinelliae Rhizoma can be considered.
