Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Jingkang Prescription combined with tuina in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy (CSR) . Methods: Sixty patients with CSR admitted to the Third Orthopedics and Traumatology Department of Shantou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to December 2024 were included and divided into the treatment group and the control group equally according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with Jingkang Prescription combined with conventional tuina therapy, while the control group received conventional tuina therapy alone. The Clinical efficacy, Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) scores, Tanaka Yasuhisa Cervical Spondylopathy Symptom Scale scores, and serum C-reactive protein (CRP) levels were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results:The total effective rate was 93.33%( 28/30) in the treatment group and 73.33%( 22/30) in the control group, the difference being statistically significant (P<0.05) . After treatment, the VAS scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the VAS score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05) . After treatment, the scores of Tanaka Yasuhisa Cervical Spondylopathy Symptom Scale in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), with the treatment group achieving higher score than the control group (P<0.05) . After treatment, the serum CRP levels in the two groups declined when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05), and the serum CRP level in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05) . Conclusion: Jingkang Prescription combined with tuina in the treatment of CSR improves clinical efficacy, alleviates clinical symptoms, enhances cervical function, and its mechanism may be related to reducing the body's inflammatory response.
