Abstract： Objective： To observe the effect of thunder-fire moxibustion combined with biofeedback electric stimulation on postpartum pelvic floor dysfunction （PFD）. Methods：Using a random number table method，128 cases of patients with postpartum PFD of kidney yang deficiency type treated at Wenzhou TCM Hospital of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University from April 2023 to October 2024 were divided into the control group and the trial group， with 64 cases in each group. The control group was given biofeedback electrical stimulation therapy，and the trial group was additionally treated with thunder-fire moxibustion in addition to biofeedback electrical stimulation. Both groups were treated for four weeks. Pelvic floor function-related scores [Pelvic Floor Distress Inventory-20 （PFDI-20） scores and Pelvic Floor Impact Questionnaire-7 （PFIQ-7） scores] and pelvic floor ultrasound indicators [cervical os distance （COD），urethral rotation angle （URA），and posterior urethrovesical angle （PUA）] were assessed before and after treatment. The clinical effects and incidence of adverse recations were compared between the two groups. Results： After four weeks of treatment，the total effective rate in the trial group was higher than that in the control group （P＜ 0.05）. Both groups showed a decrease in the scores of PFDI-20 and PFIQ-7 compared to before treatment （P＜0.05）； the trial group had lower scores of PFDI-20 and PFIQ-7 than the control group （P＜0.05）. Both groups showed a reduction in COD， URA， and PUA compared to before treatment， with significant differences （P＜0.05）. The trial group had a shorter COD and smaller URA and PUA than the control group， with significant differences （P＜0.05）. There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups （P＞0.05）. Conclusion： Thunder-fire moxibustion combined with biofeedback electric stimulation has a definite therapeutic effect on postpartum PFD. It can improve pelvic floor function，promote the disappearance of PFD symptoms，and has good safety.
