Abstract： This article introduces Professor YUAN Qing's clinical experience in treating pediatric flaccidity syndrome based on the theory of "consolidating the foundation and cultivating the original qi". Professor YUAN believes that the core pathogenesis of pediatric flaccidity syndrome lies in the deficiency and impairment of original qi. The treatment should focus on strengthening the spleen，boosting the kidney，consolidating the foundation and cultivating the original qi，and the supplementation of both congenital and acquired aspects is emphasized. In clinical practice， the primary acupoint selections include the flaccidity three needles， yin three needles， and yang three needles， supplemented with musk moxibustion to warm the meridians and unblock collaterals. Additional acupoints are modified according to the patient's specific symptoms.
