Abstract:This paper introduces Professor LI Jian's clinical experience in differentiating and treating non-infective fever after hip arthroplasty. Professor LI Jian holds that non-infective fever after hip arthroplasty belongs to the category of internal injury fever in traditional Chinese medicine. Its pathogenesis is mainly related to surgical trauma consuming qi and blood,blood stasis obstruction,and damp-heat accumulation,etc. During treatment,it is necessary to base on the differentiation of qi,blood,yin and yang to identify the source of "deficiency in the root". At the same time, attention should be paid to the treatment of local blood stasis obstruction at the surgical site and concurrent symptoms to achieve the effect of treating both the root and branch. Commonly used prescriptions include Yiqi Huoxue Prescription, Yangyin Qingre Prescription,Qingre Qushi Prescription,etc. Meanwhile,the importance of early functional exercise and psychological counseling after surgery is emphasized.
