Abstract:Objective:To observe the effeet of Compound Huangboye Liniment on postoperative wound healing of low anal fistula with downward attack of damp-heat syndrome patients. Methods:A total of 120 patients with low anal fistula with downward attack of damp-heat syndrome who underwent anal fistulectomy in the Department of Proctology, Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,were selected from March 2023 to October 2023, and were divided into 60 cases each in the trial group and the control group according to the random number table method.During the experiment, two cases fell off in each group. The control group received Kangfuxin Liquid for postoperative wound dressing,and the trial group received Compound Huangboye Liniment for postoperative wound dressing. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated,and the wound healing rate,wound pain severity, and wound itching score of the two groups were compared. Results:After the rank sum test,the overall efficacy of the trial group was superior to that of the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05). The wound healing rate of thetrialgroupwashigherthanthatofthe control group on the 28th postoperative day,the difference being significant(P< 0.05). On the 7th, 14th, and 21st, postoperative days, the wound Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score and wound itching score of the trial group were lower than those of the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: Wet compress of Compound Huangboye Liniment for postoperative patients with low anal fistula with downward attack of damp-heat syndrome can improve the wound healing rate, relieve postoperative wound pain, wound itching,and enhance the clinical efficacy.
