Abstract: Through literature retrieval and analysis, this study explores the related mechanisms and clinical applications of mind-regulating needling in the treatment of urinary incontinence(UI). It summarizes that mindregulating needling in the treatment of UI, may work by regulating functions of the central and peripheral nervous systems to enhance coordination between the detrusor and urethral sphincter muscles;alleviating negative psychological states such as anxiety and depression;and modulating relevant hormone levels to promote urinary function recovery. As a safe and effective Chinese medicine therapy,mind-regulating needling addresses UI through multi-target and multipathway mechanisms, demonstrating significant potential for both adult UI and infantile enuresis treatment. This review provides a theoretical foundation and practical guidance for its clinical applications.
