Abstract:Objective:To observe the efficacy of ultrasound-induced Qufeng Chushi Zhitong Prescription in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcer(DFU). Methods: A total of 82 patients with DFU who visited Lishui City People's Hospital from July 2022 to December 2024 were selected and divided into a control group and a drug permeation group, with 41 cases in each group, based on the differences in treatment plans. The control group received conventional modern medical treatment and nursing interventions, while the drug permeation group was given ultrasound-induced Qufeng Chushi Zhitong Prescription based on the control group. The improvement of foot symptoms (time to granulation tissue appearance, healing time, and ulcer area),angiogenesis indicators [vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF), endostatin (ES), and basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF)], inflammatory status [NLRP3 inflammasome, intercellular adhesion molecule 1(ICAM-1),and interleukin-18(IL-18)],Diabetic Foot Ulcer Healing Scale(DMIST) scores, and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores for pain were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results: After intervention, the drug permeation group had an earlier appearance of granulation tissue (P<0.05),shorter healing time(P<0.05),and smaller ulcer area(P<0.05)compared to the control group. After intervention, the levels of VEGF and bFGF were increased(P<0.05)and the level of ES was decreased(P<0.05)in both groups compared to before intervention. The drug permeation group had higher levels of VEGF and bFGF(P< 0.05) and lower levels of ES(P<0.05) compared to the control group. After intervention, the levels of NLRP3 inflammasome,ICAM-1,and IL-18 were decreased in both groups compared to before intervention(P<0.05),with the drug permeation group having lower levels of these indicators compared to the control group (P < 0.05). After intervention, the DMIST and VAS scores were decreased (P<0.05) in both groups compared to before intervention, with the drug permeation group having lower scores compared to the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Ultrasound-induced Qufeng Chushi Zhitong Prescription is significantly effective in treating DFU, improving the inflammatory status, promoting angiogenesis, and facilitating the healing of foot ulcers.
