Abstract:While the meridian circulation system of the twelve channels is well-established in current channel and collateral theory, the unique value of the five transport points' Liuzhu(dynamic flow)remains underexplored. This study traces the original meaning of "Lingshu"(The Spiritual Pivot)from the Huang Di Nei Jing(The Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic)and proposes the theoretical model of "Lingshu Initiating Yang".It examines the pivotal role of the five transport points through the perspective of harmony between the human body and nature.Furthermore,it investigates the systematic connections among the five transport points, seasons, five zang-organs,and the five body constituents, clarifying the complete centripetal flow of yang qi from the extremities through the sequence from Jing points to He points. Integrating the theory of Three Yin and Three Yang, the study establishes a diagnostic approach synergizing pulse manifestations with superficial bodily characteristics. Building on this foundation and guided by principles recorded in Lingshu,a therapeutic strategy of "tonifying the exterior-interior related channels while draining the affected channel" is developed. Clinical evidence from classical case studies demonstrates that the dynamic flow of the five transport points constitute an independent operational system.
