Abstract： This article introduces DING Jiyuan's clinical experience in treating cancer-related insomnia（CRI） from deficiency-stasis-turbidity syndrome differentiation．DING Jiyuan contends that CRI originates from deficiency as the root cause， manifests as stasis as the branch manifestation， and evolves through turbidity as the pathological transformation，with these three factors dynamically interacting to drive the disease．Clinically，he is adept at starting from the dynamic pathogenesis of the binding of deficiency，stasis and turbidity．He often uses three herbs，namely Pseudostellariae Radix， Astragali Radix， and Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata to treat the root cause as qi-blood deficiency．He uses Persicae Semen and Carthami Flos to treat the branch as blood stasis obstruction and stagnation， and he uses Pinelliae Rhizoma， Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium， and Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma to disperse phlegm-turbidity accumulation．Guided by the four-factor consideration principle，integrating the patient's treatment course， pathogen predominance， cancer type， and disease stage， DING's disease-syndrome integrated approach achieves significant clinical effect.
