Abstract： This article introduces Professor DENG Gaopi's clinical experience in treating ovulatory disorder infertility（ODI）using fruit and seed category herbs．Professor DENG posits that kidney deficiency coupled with uterine collateral obstruction constitutes the core pathogenesis of ODI．He emphasizes that promoting follicular growth is pivotal in diagnosis and treatment．Clinically，he skillfully employs fruit and seed herbs，which are mainly characterized by their mild， neutral nature and inherent vitality， leveraging their actions of promoting growth and ascent， moistening descent， and unblocking stagnation and dissipating masses． Through stage-specific treatment aligned with the menstrual cycle，he applies regulated unblocking and supplementing methods to achieve the ultimate goal of yin-yang harmony leading to conception.
