Abstract：Objective：To systematically analyze the medication rules of Professor SHEN Linyuan in treating nonspecific low back pain（NLBP）using data mining. Methods：Based on the Ancient and Morden Medical Case Cloud Platform（V2.3.9）， frequency statistics， association rules analysis， cluster analysis， and complex network analysis were applied to 445 outpatient Chinese herbal prescriptions for NLBP patients treated by Professor SHEN. The core characteristics of medication were uncovered through these methods. Results： A total of 127 Chinese herbs were included， with 21 herbs having a frequency over 100. High-frequency herbs were dominated by Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium， Moutan Cortex， Corydalis Rhizoma， Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix， and Mori Ramulus. The herbal natures were mainly warm， neutral， and slightly cold； flavors focused on bitter， acrid， and sweet； and channel entries were mainly the liver，spleen，lung，and kidney channels. Core herbal pairs included Moutan Cortex-Corydalis Rhizoma， Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix-Corydalis Rhizoma， Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix-Moutan Cortex， Mori Ramulus-Corydalis Rhizoma，and Mori Ramulus-Moutan Cortex. Cluster analysis identified three core herbal clusters. Complex network analysis revealed the core prescriptions： Corydalis Rhizoma， Moutan Cortex， Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium， Stephaniae Tetrandrae Radix， Mori Ramulus， Magnoliae Officinalis Cortex， Trachelosperi Caulis et Folium， Pheretima， Artemisiae Scopariae Herba， Paeoniae Radix Rubra， Gentianae Macrophyllae Radix， Achyranthis Bidentatae Radix， Chuanxiong Rhizoma， and（Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma）. Conclusion： The medication rules of Professor SHEN Linyuan in the treatment of NLBP take invigorating blood and regulating qi， removing dampness and unblocking collaterals， and supplementing and boosting the liver and kidney as the core therapeutic methods，take Moutan Cortex-Corydalis Rhizoma as the core herbal pair，form the compatibility principle of "using cold and heat together， and combining attacking with supplementing"， and emphasize "treatment in accordance with three categories of etiological factors". He frequently uses Lingnan characteristic herbs such as Artemisiae Scopariae Herba，and Aralia Chinensis L，precisely targeting the regional pathogenesis of damp-heat and stasis obstruction，and frequently uses Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium to regulate the spleen and stomach.
