Abstract： This article introduces Professor ZHOU Yingchun's clinical experience in treating hidrosis syndrome with Danggui Liuhuang Decoction. The core of his approach lies in transcending the traditional limitations of the yin deficiency with hyperactivity of fire syndrome. Professor ZHOU believes that the essence of Danggui Liuhuang Decoction is to "clear fire， nourish yin， strengthen the spleen， and harmonize yin and yang." Through flexible modifications， this prescription has shown significant curative effect in treating complex cases of hidrosis syndrome， including yin deficiency and fire heat syndrome and intermingled cold and heat. A critical aspect of Professor ZHOU's approach is his deep exploration of the doubled use of Astragali Radix in the prescription. He points out that Astragali Radix not only boosts qi to consolidate the exterior but also embodies the method of relieving fever with sweet-warm medicinals. By fortifying the spleen，tonifying deficiency，consolidating the exterior and arresting sweating，this approach provides an important strategy for treating hidrosis syndrome caused by spleen deficiency and deficiency fire floating upward.
