Abstract: Postoperative kinesiophobia in lumbar disc herniation(LDH)is a psychologically complex disorder with high clinical incidence,which severely impacting postoperative recovery and quality of life. This article synthesizes the current understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of postoperative kinesiophobia in LDH and examines the application status of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)therapeutic techniques in its management. It further analyzes the clinical advantages of TCM techniques in alleviating this condition, discusses existing research limitations, and proposes future directions for clinical practice and guide subsequent research.
