Abstract： Objective： This study aimed to observe the clinical effect of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with Diosmin Tablets in the treatment of lower extremity varicose veins during the recovery period after endovenous laser ablation（EVLA）. Methods：A total of 60 patients with lower extremity varicose veins admitted to Wenling Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2023 to June 2024 were selected and divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method，with 30 cases in each group. Both groups underwent EVLA for lower extremity varicose veins. The control group was treated with oral Diosmin Tablets，while the study group was given Diosmin Tablets combined with Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction. The incidence of postoperative complications， clinical effect， clinical satisfaction rate and quality of life indicators were compared between the two groups. Results： After treatment，the incidence of postoperative complications in the study group was 16.67%（5/30），and that in the control group was 43.33%（13/30），the difference being significant between the two groups（P＜0.05）. After treatment，the total effective rate of clinical effect in the study group was 86.67%（26/30），and that in the control group was 70.00% （21/30），the difference being significant（P＜0.05）. After treatment，the clinical satisfaction rate in the study group was 80.00%（24/30），and that in the control group was 60.00%（18/30），the difference being significant（P＜0.05）. After treatment，the scores of all dimensions of quality of life in the study group were higher than those in the control group， the difference being significant（P＜0.05）. Conclusion：Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with Diosmin Tablets in the treatment of lower extremity varicose veins during the recovery period after EVLA can effectively relieve clinical symptoms，improve clinical efficacy，reduce the incidence of complications，and improve patients' quality of life.
