Abstract： Objective： To observe the effect of the combination of Qianlie Zhulong Decoction and transurethral plasmakinetic resection of prostate on the urinary function and complications after the surgery of prostatic hyperplasia. Methods：A total of 110 patients with prostatic hyperplasia admitted to Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital of Zhuji from July 2022 to December 2024 were selected and divided into the study group and the control group according to different treatment methods，with 55 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional transurethral plasmakinetic resection of prostate，and the study group was additionally treated with Qianlie Zhulong Decoction based on the treatment in the control group. The changes in urinary function indexes， levels of serum sex hormones [testosterone（T）， luteinizing hormone（LH）， and follicle-stimulating hormone（FSH）]， levels of inflammatory factors [C-reactive protein （CRP） and interleukin-6 （IL-6）] before and after treatment， and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results： After treatment， the prostate volume and bladder residual urine volume in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment（P＜0.05），and the maximum urine flow in the two groups was increased when compared with that before treatment（P＜0.05）；the prostate volume and bladder residual urine volume in the study group were lower than those in the control group， and the maximum urine flow was greater than that in the control group（P＜0.05）. After treatment， the T levels in the two groups were up-regulated when compared with those before treatment（P＜0.05），and the levels of LH and FSH were down-regulated when compared with those before treatment（P＜0.05）；the T level in the study group was higher than that in the control group（P＜0.05）， and the levels of LH and FSH were lower than those in the control group（P＜ 0.05）. After treatment，the levels of CRP and IL-6 in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment（P＜0.05），and the above two levels in the study group were lower than those in the control group（P＜0.05）. The incidence of complications was 7.27%（4/55）in the study group，and 23.64%（13/55）in the control group，there being significance in the difference（P＜0.05）. Conclusion： The combination of Qianlie Zhulong Decoction and transurethral plasmakinetic resection of prostate can improve the urinary function and levels of serum sex hormones of patients after surgery of prostatic hyperplasia， and reduce the levels of inflammatory factors and the incidence of complications.
