Abstract: Objective: To analyze the medication rules of patented Chinese herbal compounds for Alzheimer's disease based on data mining. Methods:The patent data on Chinese herbal compounds for Alzheimer's disease in the patent database of China Science Periodical Database(Wanfang)and the resource database of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine-NeoSCI were collected. The frequency statistics, association rule analysis, cluster analysis and other data analysis were carried out by using the Ancient and Modern Medical Case Cloud Platform, R language and other software to explore the medication characteristics and prescription patterns of Chinese herbal compounds for Alzheimer's disease,and realize the network visualization. Results:A total of 388 patented compound prescriptions were included, involving 605 Chinese medicines. The top five were Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma, Polygalae Radix, Chuanxiong Rhizoma,Astragali Radix and Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma. They are mainly warm in nature,and sweet in flavor,with main meridian entries to the liver and kidney. They are mainly used to moisten the intestines and promote defecation,tranquilize the mind and improve intelligence. Finally,75 association rules were obtained,including 13 items of 2 Chinese medicines,54 items of 3 Chinese medicines and 8 items of 4 Chinese medicines. Through cluster analysis, 4 kinds of medicinal combinations were obtained, and their main effects were as follows: C1: nourishing qi and activating blood,and tranquilizing the mind and improving intelligence;C2:dispelling wind and relieving pain,and tonifying the kidney and strengthening yang; C3: tonifying qi and invigorating spleen; C4: producing fluid and nourishing blood,and moistening the intestines and promoting defecation. Conclusion:The high-frequency Chinese medicines for Alzheimer's disease in patented Chinese herbal compounds are Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma, Polygalae Radix, Chuanxiong Rhizoma, Astragali Radix and Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, which are mainly for replenishing qi and blood, resolving phlegm and removing blood stasis, and inducing resuscitation and improving intelligence, indicating that the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease is closely related to deficiency,phlegm and blood stasis.
